Curriculum Vitae Summary
Bob Jickling is currently a member of the Faculty of Education at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He has been involved with issues in education, environmental education, and environmental ethics for more than 20 years. He founded the Canadian Journal of Environmental Education in 1996 and has be an editor for the past 10 years. He was also a long-serving member of the steering committee for The Canadian Network for Environmental Education and Communication (EECOM).
Bob Jickling's research interests include philosophy of education, environmental ethics, and relationships between environmental philosophy, ethics, education, and teaching. He is an active scholar with many publications and conference presentations. He also serves on a number of academic and editorial boards.
