Curriculum Vitae Summary

Bob Jickling is currently Professor of Education at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He has been involved with issues in education, environmental education, and environmental ethics for more than 30 years. He founded the Canadian Journal of Environmental Education in 1996 and served as Editor and Co-Editor for 15 years; he is now Editor Emeritus. He was also a long-serving member of the steering committee for The Canadian Network for Environmental Education and Communication (EECOM).

Bob Jickling's research interests include philosophy of education, environmental ethics, and relationships between environmental philosophy, ethics, education, and teaching. He is an active scholar with many publications and conference presentations. He also serves on a number of academic and editorial boards.
